Radio & TV Shows
MONDAY – TUESDAY – THURSDAY 22:00 – 24:00 SATURDAY 20:00 – 22:00 SUNDAY13:00 – 15:00
Every evening from 22:00 to 24:00, Paris Mitsou plays popular and rebetika songs without “expiration date.” In the six years the broadcast “Songs and Songs” has been on the air, it has presented 150 composers, lyricists and singers who, each one in his/her unique fashion, have helped popular song find its way and become the torso of our popular civilization. These people can almost never find a podium elsewhere to speak about the things they know and the situations they have experienced.
For six years now, from the sensitive 902 Aristera sta FM radio station, the story of Greek popular song gets unraveled through inimitable interviews and music nights, with an audience that gets bigger and bigger, as many young people as well as immigrants participate by phone, SMS and e-mails, and by doing so in essence configure the programme.
The broadcast is attended by Anna Bounta.
On Saturday, “Songs and Songs” is broadcast from 20:00 p.m. to 22:00 p.m. There are two presenters, Paris Mitsou and Anna Bounta, who guide the listeners through popular paths. In this two-hour broadcast, the rubric “The listeners’ hour” is incorporated. In this part of the programme, prerecorded conversations between friends from Greece and abroad, together with songs they have selected, are broadcast.
So, listen to “Songs and Songs” because Greek popular song is entitled to its own broadcast..
Listen live to 902 Aristera sta FM broadcast.
